I went to a local dealer today and I received prices for 2 tractors. B7800 HSD $11,880 + loader LA402-1 $3,275 for a total of $15,155. After looking at the forum this looks to be a good price. The next one a L3130 GST $14,100 + loader LA513 $3,376 for a total of $17476. This price seems to be high after checking the forum but I like this tractor better. Does anyone have any comparisons? I would appreciate any comments on these prices.

I'm not sure on the others, but in my parts, I was quoted 19k for the L3130 with the mid size loader, delivered. Everything here costs more than everywhere else, so they are probably reasonable. ....

I bought a 7800 with loaded R-4's, LA-402 FEL, 60" MMM in November for $16,900 but by the time I included a few other goodies (chains & 60" box blade) and tax, I was at $18,500 roughly. I'm not sure how much the MMM runs but it looks like you are in the ball park. You do realize that the L3130 weighs twice as much as the 7800. I think it would depend on what you are wanting to do with the tractor as to which direction you went. I plan on mowing with mine, thus the smaller lighter tractor. If I wasn't using mine to mow, I probably would have went to the 3130. ....

dragon, I am not sure if you have seen this info. but I figured it applied and you might be interested. Might also help you get an ideal of pricing for shopping and comparison.

Art I am sure is the most qualified to address this and maybe even offer a better price. Have you checked with him? ....

Chief, the dealer dropped the retail price of the tractor and seems close to retail on the attachments. It would be nice to know what features the dealer offers for those prices! ....

Well if it was Chief he would have to have a cap for all appropriate family members, as well as a jacket and two coffee mugs. On the serious side if the offers are done on the money then how about a free fifty hour service as well as products to do it at the next interval. A can of touch-up paint or two or an extra set of hitch pins a drawbar pin for your trailer. How about an extra set of blades for the mower for spares. You can ask and the worst you might here is no! Do you need a new chain saw? ....

When you are using the glow plugs; do you hold the switch counter clock wise to the approate time? Or is there somthing I am doing wrong? ....
